He has completed MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur, which is one of the largest Medical College and Hospital in Asia. Thereafter he did his postgraduation in Paediatrics from Seth GSMC & KEM hospital Mumbai, which has word wide reputation as one of the best teaching Hospital. He completed DNB Paediatrics from Southern Railway Headquarter Hospital, Chennai. He did Fellowship of National Board (FNB) in Paediatric Haematology, Oncology & BMT from Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, India which is recognised as one of the premier institute and hospital worldwide. At the same institute he pursued IAP fellowship in Paediatric Haematology, Oncology and BMT. He completed International Transplant Course from Barcelona, Spain under the aegis of European group of Blood & Marrow Transplantation. He has been invited for fellowship in paediatric haematology oncology and BMT in Great Ormand Street Hospital, London.

Over the years, he has been associated with several prestigious hospitals in Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi He started his professional career as consultant paediatrician at Children’s Hospital and Veena Nursing Home Malad, Mumbai. He served at grassroot level in India at PHC and CHC during his bond period after MBBS and postgraduation. Thereafter he worked in the department paediatric haematology oncology and BMT at Apollo Speciality Hospital, Chennai which has credit of successfully completing over 1000 paediatric HSCTs. Later he was a part of the PHO and BMT Team at Sir Gangaram Hospital. Subsequently, he worked as consultant at Artemis Hospital in the department of PHO and BMT, performed over 100 successful transplants in a year 2018-2019 including MSD, MUD and haploidentical HSCTs for various indications. Currently he is working as consultant in the department of PHO & BMT CT, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and has successfully treated various benign and malignant diseases in children and performed numerous different types of HSCTs for various indications.

Besides his regular professional commitments, he has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and presented papers at national and international platforms. He is an active member of various associations related paediatric haematology oncology and BMT.

I have several years of experience and training in India at resident , registrar  and consultant level. I also have  experience in paediatric Haemato Oncology and BMT  in  different tertiary care hospitals in India, as registrar and fellow and was involved actively in evaluating and treating  patients with primary immunodeficiency disorders, Leukemias, Lymphomas, solid tumours including Neuroblastoma, Rhabdomyosarcoma, Retinoblastoma, Ewing’s sarcoma, PNET, GCT, Brain tumours and other rare tumours. My training in both general paediatric and paediatric specialities include outpatients, in patients, day care, and on calls responsibilities. I also have research experience.

I have successfully completed  European Blood and Marrow Transplantation ( EBMT) international transplant course  from  Barcelona, Spain in 2018.

I have been invited for fellowship in PHO and BMT by Great Ormand Street Hospital London, but could not go due to Covid 19 Pandemic.
